Description
Two stepped octagonal base and pedestal supporting a tapered shaft surmounted by a stylised Latin cross. A laurel wreath is carved in relief on Face 1, and the names of the fallen graven in niches set into the base.
Inscription
Starting on face 1 at bottom of cross pillar: IN MEMORY OF/ THE MEN OF/ RAUCEBY WHO/ GAVE THEIR/ LIVES FOR THEIR/ COUNTRY IN/ THE GREAT WAR/ 1914-1918/ Front faces 2-8 of base: (Names) Starting on face 1 at bottom of plinth: God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Peace perfect peace./
