Description
An area of the churchyard sealed off by a brick screen wall facing the road junction in which there is a Cross of Sacrifice set on square plinth with a two stepped octagonal base. The inscriptions are on slate tablets, which, may have been installed on top of eroded incised inscriptions on the stones of the plinth. The Great War dedication is on the 12 o'clock face of the plinth with the Names on the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock faces. The WW2 memorial tablet is set within a sandstone frame on the elevated central section of the screen wall. The elevation of the section seems to have been made to accommodate the tablet.
