- HIGH ALTAR MADE OF SEATON STONE WITH AN IRISH MARBLE SLAB AND A STONE TABERNACLE. TWO CARVED PANELS ON THE SIDES OF THE ALTAR HAVE THE NAMES INSCRIBED UPON THEM. BESIDE THE ALTAR A FIGURE OF THE VIRGIN MARY UNDER A CANOPY.

- 1972: CHURCH COMMISSIONERS DECIDED TO MAKE THE CHURCH REDUNDANT BUT AN APPEAL WAS MADE TO THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE 1977: CHURCH WAS FINALLY CLOSED. VARIOUS PLANS WERE PUT FORWADR AS TO ITS FUTURE INCLUDING A PROPOSAL TO DEMOLISH IT. HOWEVER, THIS WAS PREVENTED WHEN THE CHURCH WAS UPGRADED FROM A GRADE TWO LISTED BUILDING TO A GRADE TWO* IN THE MEANTIME, MUCH DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE CHURCH BY VANDALS. THE MEMORIAL WAS LOST DURING THIS PERIOD.
