- Description
- Five-stepped, octagonal base with round-edged upper facing pavers on each riser, surmounted by an octagonal sectioned stepped plinth, capstone, tall octagonal sectioned shaft & cross with star-shaped projections. The design is an adaption of that of the Medieval Cross. The plinth bears seven engraved slate inscription tablets with one panel face unused. The whole memorial stands within the Market Place / car parking area.
