Description
Two-stepped rectangular base surmounted by a rectangular sectioned, rough-hewn tapering plinth, capstone & rectangular sectioned, rough-hewn taper-shafted Latin cross. Metal Sword of Sacrifice attached to front face of cross. Inscriptions on smoothed front face of plinth & angled tablet mounted on lower front step. Whole memorial is sited in a small, tight three-sided enclosure, set back from pavement. Front apron of memorial site is radiused to suit curvature of pavement.
