Description

Round-headed white veined marble tablet with carved drapes across the top and down the sides. Ornamental ledge between the pediment and the main section of the tablet. Heraldic rose device in relief in the middle of the pediment.

YN ANGOF NI CHANT FOD/ ER DIOLCHGAR GOF AM/ EBYRTH Y RHYFEL MAWR./ MILWYR:- (Names) MORWYR:- (Names)/ OLL YN AELODAU O'R EGLWYS HON./ CODWYD Y MAEN HWN TRWY RODDION GWIRFODDOL. Translation: They will not be forgotten. In thankful memory of the sacrifices of the Great War. Soldiers (names). Sailors (names). All members of this church. This stone was raised through voluntary donations.
