There is a highly decorated patterned border, in which alternate thistles and Tudor roses are set in blue ovals with shamrock leaves. In the corners are painted heraldic devices representing England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. At centre top is the Royal badge. At centre bottom is a painted shape like a bishop's mitre in which are painted assorted flags. At the top the words "Roll of Honour" are set on blue and red backgrounds.
