- Description
- Oak Reredos. The names are listed on four panels, two on each side of the altar. The names from 1939-45 are added on to the fourth panel. The lettering is in Roman capitals, with the space between the end of the name and the right margin filled in with a Celtic pattern. The dedication is carried on the panel behind the altar, using Gothic upper and lower case lettering. In all cases, the lettering and patterns are raised and gilded on a sunken background. The whole panelling is surmounted by a tracery design of grapes and vine leaves, with a red painted background.
