- Description
- Three-stepped base surmounted by a column, beneath the battered obelisk. The column has a frieze of laurel wreathes around its base, and a wider frieze of wreathes and ribbons above. The dedicatory inscription is on the front face of the column, with plates on the other three sides carrying the WW1 names. Laurel leaves, falling to the sides, are carved in relief above each plaque. The WW2 names are on a rectangular plaque on the front of the top step beneath the column. The inscription are cast on bronze plaques.
