TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THE PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/ FOR THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR BEGUN IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1914/ THIS CROSS IS RAISED BY THEIR SORROWING FELLOW PARISHIONERS AND FRIENDS/ REMEMBER THEM OH GOD, FOR GOOD, AND BRING THEM INTO GLORY/ THROUGH THE SUFFERING AND DEATH OF THE CAPTAIN OF THEIR SALVATION/ (34 WW1 NAMES)/ IN MEMORIAM 1939-45/ (10 WW2 NAMES)
