Description
One of a group of eleven battlefield crosses . each set into a rectangular stone plinth outside the church .with casualty details incised on the front face of the plinth . The crosses were put in place in 1922 and by 2001 their condition had deteriorated and they were discarded , with the plinths remaining in place .A rectangular metal plaque was erected on the site with the names of the eleven casualties . The commemoration as recorded is that which was incised on the plinth , details of the battlefield cross and its dedication , together with any GRU/IWGC attached white metal strips have been lost
