- Description
- WW1, wall mounted, portrait orientated streaked pink marble backboard surmounted by a grey marble tablet, integrated with a raised grey marble cross. An incised inscription spans the horizontal arms, whilst a raised white marble figure of a soldier, standing with his rifle pointing downwards, is mounted on lower shaft of cross. Incised names on tablet, either side of lower shaft of cross. At the tablet's base, is a moulded-edge shelf, immediately underneath which, is a raised shield and foliate design. The WW2, wall mounted, landscape orientated, rebate-edged tablet is directly below the WW1 tablet. All inscriptions and names infilled with black enamel paint.
