Description
Two stepped base surmounted by a square pedestal in 3 stages and a figure of a soldier wearing a cap and backpack and standing at ease, which is on a roughly cast base. He rests his hands on his reversed rifle. The memorial stands on a small traffic island with low metal railings placed around the edge. The inscription is in black lettering on the sides of the plinth. Names for WW2 have been placed on two tablets set into a cut out section of the upper step on the 3 and 9 o'clock faces of the memorial.
