TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ HONOUR AND REMEMBER THE MEN OF/ OXENHOPE WHO SACRIFICED THEIR/ LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919/ (NAMES)/ R.I.P./ THIS TABLET AND THE CLOCK IN THE CHURCH TOWER WERE ERECTED/ BY THE CHURCHWARDENS OF THIS PARISH AND A FUND/ TOWARDS THE MAINTENANCE OF THE CLOCK WAS/ PROVIDED BY THE RELATIVES OF THE FALLEN REMEMBER ALSO THOSE KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE/ IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR 1939 - 1945/ (Names)/ THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY THE COMMUNITY OF OXENHOPE/ AS A MILLENNIUM TRIBUTE ARMISTICE DAY 2000
