REMEMBER THE MEN OF RAMSEY/ WHO FELL IN THE CONFLICT OR DIED/ OF WOUNDS AND SICKNESS/ THIS LITTLE MEMORIAL WAS THE FIRST TO/ BE PUT UP ON THE ISLAND. IT STOOD IN A/ FRAME IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH AND WAS/ DEDICATED ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 27TH 1918/ THERE WAS A LIST IN A FRAME BENEATH, NAMES BEING ADDED FROM/ TIME TO TIME AT THE REQUEST OF RELATIVES OR FRIENDS/ (Names)
