Description
Simple square structure with domed top and carved cross on each face. Commemoration plaques on its sides. All set in a paved area within parkland.

c. 1998-1999: The memorial was daubed with graffiti by some Swinton youths and was subsequently cleaned. 2007: The memorial ha been painted with white anti-vandal paint to defer graffiti.
