IN MEMORY OF/ PRIVATE R. J. WILLS PIONEER CORPS/ A SON OF THIS PARISH CHURCH/ WHO GAVE HIS LIFE IN NORMANDY/ ON 7TH JUNE 1944. THIS TABLET/ WAS ERECTED BY HIS COMRADES/ IN TOKEN OF THEIR HIGH ESTEEM.
