Description
Three-stepped octagonal base surmounted by a kerbed, square sectioned plinth and a square-footed, tapering octagonal sectioned shaft with integral cross. Lower base step incorporates overhanging platform-topped stone slabs. Decorative features include the following enhancements:- Top corners of plinth are slightly shaped forming an octagonal design; At the shaft transition from square to octagonal section are four, short bracketed spherical stone carvings. A new separate sloping tablet placed upon the lower base step bear the inscription and names. The whole memorial is enclosed by a narrow border garden.
