Description
GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE WITH ENTRANCE FORMED BY RAISED FLOWER BEDS AND SHRUBS BEHIND LOW WALLS OF COTSWOLD STONE. BEHIND THESE ARE HIGH PIERCED WALLS IN ORNAMENTAL BRICKWORK AND CAPPED WITH STONE DRESSINGS, STANDING ON EITHER SIDE OF MONUMENTAL PIERS AND WROUGH IRON GATES OF THE ENTRANCE ITSELF. BIRCH TREES NEXT TO THE ENTRANCE. IN THE GARDEN ARE TALL CLIPPED YEW HEDGES INTO WHICH RECESSES CUT FOR OAKEN SEATS. CENTRAL LAWN SURROUNDED BY A HERBACEOUS BORDER AND DIVIDED BY A CENTRAL PATH BORDER BY BAY OR ACACIA TREES. PATH LEADS TO A RAISED TERRACE AT THE FAR END WHERE TWO LILY PONDS REFLECT THE PERGOLA WITH CLEMATIS AND ROSES
