- Description
- Ornate stone cross with floriated ends to the head. Serpent-encircled sword carved in cross shaft. Cross surmounts six-sided plinth. Plinth with dedication and carved detail stands atop hexagonal base with four steps. Plaque with names set into angled step in centre. Three-sided wall surrounded back of cross and bears names of fallen. Front has a carved castle, the crest of the ancient borough of Great Bedwyn. The base is surrounded by a screen wall 2½ft high.
