- Two-stepped base surmounted by octagonal plinth, shaft and ornate cross. Inscription of WW1 names on the sides of the plinth, 2 small plaques added for WW2 names.

- 1998: MEMORIAL HIT BY A CAR WHICH SHIFT THE MEMORIAL ABOUT 6 INCHES AND MADE IT INSECURE. MEMORIAL REMOVED FOR SAFETY BUT PLANS TO RE-POSITION IT AT THE SAME SITE BUT WITHINI A RE-DESIGNED ROAD LAYOUT 2000: THE MEMORIAL HAS BEEN RESTORED AND REPOSITIONED IT AGAINST A HEDGE OF THE NEARBY PUB RATHER THAN ON A TRAFFIC ISLAND.
