TWO MURALS. ONE DEPICTS WINTER LIFE AND ONE DEPICTS SUMMER LIFE AT THE SCHOOL DURING THE WW2. EACH MURAL MOUNTED WITHIN A WOODEN FRAME. WINTER MURAL SHOWS PLAYING OUTDOORS; PLAYING CARDS; SEARCHLIGHTS; A ROBIN; NURSE'S INSPECTION; THEATRE; CATEEN; CLASSROOM; FATEHR CHRISTMAS; CINEMA; FOOTBALL PITCH; AN OWL. SUMMER MURAL SHOWS VARIOUS SPORTS; EVACUEE AND HIS PARENTS; CHURCH ATTENDANCE; SHOWERING; FARM HELP; AIRCRAFT SMOKE TRAILS FROM OVERHEAD BATTLE. IN THE CENTRE OF EACH MURAL IS THE SCHOOL CREST.

Sept 1998: Repositioned from above the serving counter, and moved to opposite side of the dining hall. 2001: Restoration and protection of murals completed. June 2003: Re-dedication ceremony. January 2007: Dining Hall became Grade II listed

Comments: The murals were painted by a group of the school boys, with assistance from members of staff. c £4500 for renovation and protection of murals.
