- Description
- Cross shaped plinth surmounted by octagonal column and bronze statue of peace standing on a dragon. On the four corners of the plinth are bronze seated figures of a soldier, a sailor, a nurse and a prisoner of war. Each statue is one and a half times life size. Whole stands on a paved area with three steps leading up to it on one side. WW1 inscription carved around the top of the plinth and WW2 inscription is on a bronze plaque on the plinth below the soldier figure.
