Description
Three stepped base surmounted by Cornish granite obelisk with bronze figure upon it. Two ships prows project from the pedestal. On the center plinth are two solider's, one of whom stands as he protects his wounded comrade. On the prow of the ships stand small bronze winged figure each representing the Royal Navy and the RAF. Mounted on the obelisk is a bronze winged figure of Victory standing on a globe at her feet is a bronze laurel wreath. The inscription is in gold around the base.
