Description
THE ORIGINAL PLAN INCLUDED OAK PANELS CARVED BY A LOCAL MAN, CHARLES SMITH, AND A COMMUNION TABLE. THE TABLET IS NOW ON A WALL AWAY FROM THESE OTHER ITEMS IN THE CHANCEL. IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT THE PLANS SUBMITTED BY SIR REGINALD BLOMFIELD WERE REJECTED AT PUBLIC MEETING.
