Description
Two wrought iron gates supported by two curved piers with carved inscription on them. Gold coloured embellishments on gates. Three stone urns surmount each pier, three steps lead up to gates from roadside pavement.

1999: POST-WW2 NAMES TO BE ADDED, STAINS REMOVED FROM STONE PIERS AT A COST OF £3750 AND INSCRIPTION RE-CUT 1987: The Memorial gates formed the entrance to Whitehall Recreation Ground In 1987 they were moved eastward of their original position to allow for an access road.
