Description

Life sized figure of a soldier standing with his rifle butt resting by his feet and his hands resting over the muzzle. Figure surmounts a plinth and a single base, with three plaques mounted on the front face of the plinth and images carved into the two sides. In front of this and flanking the sides are two stone pillars with plaques on their front faces, for the Second World War inscriptions. All within a planted area.
