STONE CROSS WITH OCTAGONAL SHAFT SURMOUNTS OCTAGONAL PEDIMENT AND TWO-STEPPED BASE. LETTERING IN RELIEF JUST ABOVE PEDIMENT. CARVED INSCRIPTION AND NAMES ON SIDES OF PEDIMENT. WHOLE SET IN SHINGLED AREA, SURROUNDED BY GRASS. BRONZE SWORD AFFIXED TO HEAD AND SHAFT OF CROSS.
