- Recreation club built in memory of the parishioners of Orford that died in WW1. Dedicatory wooden board inside the club house explaining history of the memorial. Club has bowling greens and trees planted on the boundary of the land.

Ireland Blackburne CB to honour the Memory of those parishioners of/ Orford who fell in the service of their country as members of His Majesty's forces in the European/ War 1914 to 1918; To commemorate the acts and sacrifices of all parishioners who were in/ anywise instrumental in the successful waging of the war and to express the grateful thanks/ of all inhabitants of the said parish for the successful termination of the same/ (names).
