- Four-stepped base surmounted by plinth and cenotaph. Whole is surrounded by short square posts. Sword with wreath at the top of the hilt on the front face of the memorial.

- 6 o'clock face: To our glorious dead/Erected/By the people of/ Edmonton/ In loving and grateful memory of / Her sons who fell/ In the Great War/ 1914 - 1919/ And the World War/ 1939 - 1945/ Greater love hath no man than this. 3 o'clock face: Their name liveth for evermore.
