Description
Cast bronze statue mounted on a sandstone plinth on the South-East corner of St George's Hall. The Major General is portrayed in tropical uniform with his sword in his right hand and his left hand raised calling his troops forward. He is stood right foot forward on a rocky outcrop, with an African shield beneath his left foot.
