- Description
- WAXED CATHEDRAL OAK MEMORIAL WITH THREE NAME PANELS SET WITHIN A FRAME. PANELS ARE SEPARATED BY HALF COLUMNS WHICH IN TURN SUPPORT AN ARCADE. ABOVE THE PANELS IS A RIBBON IN RELIEF WITH INSCRIPTION ON IT. WHOLE FRME IS FLANKED BY TWO COLUMNS BETWEEN WHICH IS A BROAD PILASTER. THE ENTABLATURE, SUPPORTED BY THE FLANKING COLUMNS CONTAINS A CARVED PANEL WITH INSCRIPTION. BASE CONSISTS OF THREE PANELS WITH A BLOCK AT EACH SIDE UNDER EACH ARCADE ARCH IS A CHERUB'S HEAD WITH EXTENDED WINGS. IN THE ENTABLATURE IS A MARTYR'S CROWN AND A GRECIAN TAU CROSS. ON THE BLOCKS AT THE BASE ARE WREATHS. ALL THE ORNAMENTATION IS IN RELIEF
