- Description
- A square-sectioned sandstone pillar with a traceried Gothic-style panel recessed on each face, each beneath a gabled head. Three of the panels bear the names of the fallen, arranged by year, with those who died in the Second World War added below those who had fallen in 1918. The memorial is surmounted by a ball entwined by a laurel garland, on top of which is a coronet from which rises a short cross, all in limestone. The pillar stands on a three-stepped square limestone base. Inside the church near to the WW1 Roll of Honour in the south aisle, is a loose leaf book containing the details of the 28 men who died during both World Wars.
