Description
The memorial stands within a small multi-sided roadside enclosure adjacent to the "Y" junction of Church Lane & Broughton Hill. Two-stepped stone base (2nd. base step octagonal) surmounted by a square sectioned, vertical chamfer-edged plinth, limestone shaft & cross. Raised laurel wreath at centre of cross. Inscription and names in relief on side faces of plinth and at base of cross.
