11 September 1998: The building was listed Grade II, Heritage List for England reference 1376503. Unknown date: The building was occupied by the Serbian Orthodox Church. c1976: The Christ Church building became redundant and was closed to Anglican worship. 1972: Parish united with adjoining ones to form the Parish of St Peter with Christ Church and Holy Trinity.
