- Description
- Figure of a soldier in mourning with his head bowed and leaning on his rifle standing on a simple pillar and closely surrounded by railings. A tablet recording additional names from both the First and Second World Wars (identified as a result of research by Mr Les Andrew in the late 1990s) has been placed at a horizontal angle to the main memorial.

- The Sentinel 21 Oct. 1999 p.13 19 names added following research by Les Andrew, a WW2 ex-serviceman, who had also compiled a Book of Remembrance to be presented to Biddulph Town Hall (refer separate record).
