Two stepped octagonal base surmounted by plinth, and cross. Inscription carved on the sides of the plinth. Bronze sword placed on the front face of the cross.

1991: Tender put out for the renovation of the memorial. Work to consist of cleaning and recutting of inscription.

Site: Unknown
Comments: The site on whihc the memorial stands was bought from Christ Church College, Oxford. It was on land that had been part of the Manor of Bexley. This had been owned by William Camden (1551-1623). On his death he bequethed the manor site to Christ Church College.
