- Description
- Rebuilt and enlarged organ with associated tablet, located behind the pulpit, opposite the organ. This memorial was lost when the original church was burned down. It was replaced by a framed and glazed photograph with additional inscription in the rebuilt church.

- Organ: TO THE / GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING AND GRATEFUL MEMORY OF / (Names) / WHO MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE IN / THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 / "THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE" Tablet: IN GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE MEN CONNECTED WITH THIS CHURCH AND CONGREGATION WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 / (Names)/ LET THOSE THAT REMAIN SEE TO IT THAT THESE NAMES BE NOT FORGOTTEN New Inscription additionally to the original, on the new memorial are the words above the image: Let those who remain see to it that these names be not forgotten And below it: World War I Memorial Tablet, unveiled Thursday 5th May 1921 at Green Lanes Wesleyan Church, the first Methodist Church to stand on this site 1874 -1968./ Order of service held at Hackney Archives./ Presented 7th July 2019 by John Stuart Wirth, in memory of Frederick Arthur Wirth who held office there 1920s – 1960s
