- History
- The Roll of Honour was originally erected by C Division shortly after WW1, most probably in Vine Street Police Station, 10 Vine Street, Piccadilly, W1. It was later moved to West End Central Police Station (which opened in 1940). The date and reason for its later disappearance from West End Central Station is unknown. Whilst the memorial itself has gone astray, a photograph of it was in the Metropolitan Police Museum's collection at the former New Scotland Yard premises in Broadway, Victoria.
