Admire the display aircraft close-up on the flightline walk during the morning. The flightline walk usually opens at 10am with last entry at noon. An additional small charge applies.

The Second World War is brought to life by various re-enactment groups, who visitors can meet and chat to throughout the day.
On the ground there are fun events for all ages to enjoy throughout the day. Families can get hands-on with history and take part in various activities across the site.

Closing the air show season for 2013, the Autumn Air Show offers a fine selection of aerial demonstrations of aircraft past and present.

IWM Duxford’s spectacular air shows attract visitors from all over the world for the thrilling flying displays and unique atmosphere of our historic airfield.
In 2013 we will be hosting four air shows: Spring Air Show (26 May), Flying Legends Air Show (13-14 July), The Duxford Air Show (7-8 September) and Autumn Air Show (13 October).
On air show days the museum is open from 8am until 6pm. The flying display usually starts at 2pm (earlier for the Autumn Air Show), leaving plenty of time in the morning to explore the whole of the museum and enjoy fun activities for all the family.
Stroll along the flight line, soak up the atmosphere provided by specialist trader stands and Second World War living history groups or enjoy a pleasure flight.
There will also be fun family activities for all family to enjoy.
