11am - 3pm daily.
This February half term, be a History Detective and experience some of the exciting challenges that our collections experts encounter every day.
- Using only 20 questions, test your knowledge about a range of unusual historical items.
- Dare to reach inside our mystery box and discover what’s inside using only your sense of touch.
- Match up which items would have been used in the RAF, the Army or the Royal Navy.
- Use your imagination to create your own museum display and produce badges and posters to publicise your exhibition.
- Find out more about weird and wonderful mystery objects from our collection and then seek out the exhibition in the museum that relates to each object.
You’ll be given your own History Detectives passport that will be stamped every time you succeed at a challenge. When you’ve completed all six challenges, you’ll get a special sticker that you can wear with pride.
