Flying Legends Air Show

Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2015

Flying display: 2pm - 5.30pm
Aircraft participating
Opening times: 8am - 6pm

The Flying Legends Air Show is world famous for its unique presentations of historic piston engined aircraft in rare combinations and remarkable flying displays.

Over 50 historic aircraft will display at the Flying Legends Air Show. Highlights include a rare display of 1930s Hawker aircraft, featuring two Hawker Nimrods and a Hawker Fury; four powerful and agile Second World War P-51 Mustangs; five Curtiss Hawk aircraft; a pair of Douglas Dakotas and ten Supermarine Spitfires.

Complementing the ‘wow!’ factor in the air is the authentic 1940s atmosphere and the Vintage Village. See the Manhattan Dolls and the Wilmslow Concert Band performing nostalgic hits, sit in a full-size replica Spitfire and have your photo taken and enjoy a glass of fizz in our vintage deckchair area.

Before the flying display you can explore the whole museum, enjoy a great shopping experience at our trade stands and treat yourself to a pleasure flight.
