Volunteering with IWM London, Churchill War Rooms and HMS Belfast
Our volunteers donate time in various roles across the London Branches: in conservation and collections support, events support, object handling, membership advocacy, welcome, and administrative support. They also serve as remote field workers. The volunteer programme is open to anyone aged 18 years and above, although there are now a number of weekend volunteering roles within our programme, there are currently no regular evening roles available.
Our next round of recruitment selection
As a number of our active teams are currently full the next round of recruitment will be for the Visitor Experience Team and is scheduled for June 2017. To register your place at a selection session please download an application and return the completed form by email to the Volunteer Programme Office at VolunteerLondon@iwm.org.uk

Thank you for this latest newsletter. I always find them very interesting as they are packed with information across the board. Thanks also for organising the volunteers day at the Royal Naval College, as you reported with pics in last week's edition. It was a smashing tour - I met some new people over my lovely lunch. The maritime museum was fascinating as was their shop where I bought a couple of Christmas presents for my great-nephews.
Mary – Membership Ambassador
I can't thank you enough for the incredible opportunity to work at the Register over the past couple of months. I've enjoyed every minute of it, and have learnt so much. You have all been so kind and welcoming, and have truly made it an unforgettable experience. I felt rather lost last night, knowing that I wouldn't be coming into London again on Monday!
