IWM London Filming and Photography

IWM London offers a huge variety of locations in the building that formerly housed Bethlem Hospital. The impressive portico and columns at the front provide a grand backdrop to period projects, and behind the windows lie a selection Georgian boardrooms with period features.

This is contrasted with the Foster + Partners designed atrium which features remarkable modern styling, alongside historical objects and the museum’s many galleries.

IWM London also has a new suspended gallery above the main atrium, numerous museum archive spaces and we can provide access to our experts and curators for your filming requirements.

The back of the building has a large scale industrial feel with tall fire exit stairs and a rear yard, great for gritty urban dramas.

Close by, on Austral Street, is our non public access building, All Saints. This former orphanage and hospital has a striking historic exterior and still has many period features, such as beautifully tiled stairways and corridors and ornate bannisters. This building also has an atmospheric empty attic space.
