With its 300 acre site combining a historic airfield with modern visitor facilities, IWM Duxford offers huge potential for events requiring outdoor space.  A wide range of buildings and exhibits, from authentic First World War hangars to the iconic American Air Museum, provide the perfect backdrop for your event, and with full entry to the museum included for all delegates, you can be sure of excellent attendance rates.

Motor Events

IWM Duxford is proud of its strong links with the motor industry and the venue is particularly well-suited to motor launches and Ride and Drive events.  Easy access for off-site test drives is complimented by our on-site demonstration driving facilities, including our world-class 1.5km runway, 8,000 sqm of secure tarmac - suitable for lower-speed demonstrations - and our tank running arena,perfect for off-road driving.  As an FIA-registered venue, we are also pleased to offer a straight-line testing facility for Formula One and other motorsport classes.

Team Building

Staff team building or family days are another of our specialities, as well as simply enjoying all that the museum has to offer, companies can take advantage of the wide range of activities offered on site - from tank-riding and pleasure flying to educational talks and tours. 

Indoor accommodation and catering can be provided in the AirSpace Conference Centre, or we are happy to provide a private marquee to your specification.

We are also pleased to offer an extensive choice of locations for commercial filming.
