Private tours
Inspire your guests by taking a guided tour. Our expert team can provide hour-long tours for up to ten guests, and can even take you behind the glass and into the War Cabinet Room. A private tour of Churchill War Rooms offers you an unparalleled opportunity to step back through history.
Our Director, Phil Reed, is available for pre-dinner speeches, or he can even join you for dinner and reveal all about Sir Winston Churchill.

Action This Day
Following an introduction to the task and site, participants explore an aspect of the Churchill Museum or historic War Rooms. Activities focus on key working skills such as good leadership, or on a range of themes such as communication, planning, risk monitoring and accountability. This activity provides excellent opportunities for brainstorming and creativity and can be tailored to meet your event theme.
Chain of Command
Chain of Command is a fast and fun activity involving participants working in roles based on the historic functions of the War Rooms. The session concludes with time for participants to reflect on their experiences and on what made teams more or less successful.
Codes and Spies
Codes and Spies offers groups the opportunity to work in the area surrounding Churchill War Rooms, particularly St James's Park. Teams are briefed on their task and are provided with task sheets to discover the clues and crack the mystery. The session ends with participants sharing their experiences and evaluating the experience of working as a team.
