Il faut que les enfants de ceux qui ont noblement donné leur sang pour la défense de notre pays en danger puissent vivre; il faut qu'ils
soient élevés comme leurs Pères eussent voulu les élever eux-mêmes; il faut que l'union réalisée dans la lutte contre l'ennemi se réalise
de même pour la protection de ces petits êtres qui ont droit à l'affection et à la reconnaissance de tous.
Pour sauver des existences indispensables à l'avenir de la Race française, pour assurer le nécessaire aux petits orphelins de nos soldats,
que le cœur de chacun s'émeuve et comprenne le grand devoir de la fraternelle solidarité!
