large nude, full-length portrait of a seated Lance Corporal Nick Davis
Lance Corporal Nick Davis of the Grenadier Guards was seriously wounded in an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2007. His right leg was amputated at the knee and he sustained serious blast injuries to his right hip. During his rehabilitation, he agreed to sit for a portrait that fully revealed the extent of his scars.
