A dark brown plastic badge consisting of an oval ring surmounted by a crown and inscribed "TIMBER CORPS". Within the ring is a fir tree. At the bottom of the ring is a scroll inscribed "W.L.A.".
Second World War period plastic cap badge for the Timber Corps (Women's Land Army). Members of the 'Land Army Timber Corps' were affectionately nicknamed 'Lumberjills'.
