Label

This model acknowledges the vitally important role played by animal transport in land warfare since earliest times. More recently, pack mules saw service during the First and Second World Wars, and as an example, pack mules formed an essential part of the logisitic transportation system during the invasion of Italy in 1943; eventually, pack transport companies were using 45,000 mules and horses in the forward mountainous areas. This model acknowledges specifically the vital work of the Royal Pakistan Army Service Corps.
